farewell

today is 30th November 2006, thursday. waited long enough for this day to come. finally, my last employment day. ALHAMDULILLAH. sent out a farewell email this morning. within minutes, received overflowing reply from collegues, customers & suppliers...

my farewell started earlier actually. since monday. e closer ones have been dropping emails & phonecalls. yesterday, some specially dropped by my office to send gifts. sweet, right? mashaAllah.

felicia cheung bought me a 'Bee and Buttercup Pin' (24 kt. gold plate, lightly antiqued, with crystals and hand-applied enamel) from The Metropolitan Museum of Art New York. below was what written on e card:

Dear Fahlia,
Hope that you have enjoyed working in Telstra and that it has been a good experience for your life. I wish you happiness in your life always with your future husband and I am sure you will enjoy building your family.

my collegues bought me a fountain pen from mont blanc. e moment i showed it to ayah yesterday, he straightaway ask me to give him. haha. al- maklum, ni pen bapak- bapak. he loves that brand. so i gave it to him. it's ok, ayah... coz i love you more. they also got me a card which reads:

Dear Fahlia,
You're a talented person with a lot to offer- always remember that, and know that you're wished the very best- now and always. thanks for all the help. God bless you. All the best!

sweet, rite??? =) it was quite emotional yesterday. seriously. mashaAllah, i've learnt alot here. not just about the work but... e people i've met, e difficulties that i've encountered all this time. it has shaped me whom i am today. subhanAllah. i'm glad i'm moving on. alhamdulillah.
