eid

i was blog hopping for the past few days. reading all sort of eid celebration stories from fellow bloggers. mashaAllah. most of them enjoyed this joyous day with their loved ones- husbands, parents, children, families: immediate & extended. this is one of the ways where everyone can get together & dressed appropriately. =)

alhamdulillah. this year, my eid was very relax. not so kelam kabut as the previous ones... after fajr, can panaskan lauk- pauk raya, sit on my sofa, makan pelan2 & of course... the takbir. went to sholat at padang yew tee wif Seri & ibu. ayah went to al- khair alone.

after we returned back home, then came all the fever & sore thoart which has been going on & off for about a week now. subhanAllah. still ayah insisted that i have to visit at least 2 houses on the 1st day. ok, agreed. we left after dzuhr. so... i went along to visit Wak Mah at Hill Brooks & Mak Long at Bukit Panjang. =) dat's it. we are done for the day... only Kak Sis & I went home. e rest still continue with their visitings till about 10pm.

macam gitu lah raya. the same thing happened over & over again. sama orang we meet. some people still sama baju (me included). sama kueh. sama lauk. sama words- maaf zahir batin.

i wonder if we really know the real essence of eid. something to ponder. Allahualam.
