SubhanAllah, I was deeply touched by how Umm Abdullah talked about her late husband;
our Sheikh Muhammad ibn Saalih Al- Uthaimeen (rahimahullaah).
She was an illiterate woman when he married her, yet e sheikh was patience enough
and encourage her to enrol in school for adults in later years.
Needless to say... he was a good father to his children,
a true seeker of knowledge &
a great scholar of our time.
We ask Allah taala to forgive him and give him a spacious residence in Paradise. Ameen.
Question 31: We would like you an admition from you to the wives of the callers and students of knowledge.
Answer: They should perserve their husbands, openly and secretly. In addition, they should prepare for them the best situations and conditions to continue providing their duties to dawah and knowledge. Also, I incite them that they should not be bothered by the busy schedule of their husbands & their time spent travelling, seeking knowledge, reading and doing dawah. By Allah's Will, they are sharing in the reward.
